Canada | Chantecler: A Hidden Gem I Absolutely Love! 💖🍽️
I couldn’t stop thinking about the dinner I had here before, so I seized the chance to go back for brunch while summer is still here! 🌟 Steak Tartare Their tartare is special because it’s served on their homemade sourdough with a layer of fragrant cheese sauce and comes with pickles to balance the richness. 🥩🧀 Pate en Croute This dish is uniquely presented—salted pork and foie gras mixed with a touch of pistachios and cranberries, accompanied by fig jam. I was quite disappointed the first time I tried it, as it wasn’t what I expected. 😅 But I decided to try it again on my second visit. 🌟 Steak Frites & Egg The steak is a 5oz flank, incredibly tender—eating it feels like biting into cotton candy! The fries come with a bearnaise sauce whipped into a foam, making for a crunchy, flavorful experience with a wonderfully airy sauce. 🍳🍟 🌟 Duck Liver Mousse My absolute favorite!!! This is definitely one of my top 3 foie gras/duck liver mousse spots in Toronto: Chantecler, Richmond Station, and Joni. I also miss Louix’s foie gras brûlée, which is no longer available. 😍 🌟 Brioche a Tete Deliciously soft brioche, a worthy replacement for the pre-meal bread at Louix. 🥯 #HiddenGem #RestaurantRecommendation #GlobalFoodieSquad #AmbianceDining #Toronto #TorontoLife #TorontoDining #TorontoEats #TorontoFoodFun #BeautifulTorontoDining ### Name: Chantecler Address: 798 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M6G 1L9 Type: Restaurant ###
