Toronto's Quetzal is incredibly hard to get a reservation at!! What’s the hype? I went to try it myself. 🐚 Scallop Ceviche 🌟🌟🌟🌟: When it first arrived, it looked a bit dark, but once mixed, it was packed with goodies! Apples, avocado, tangy little fruits, and super fresh, sweet scallops. How could it not be delicious?! The dark sauce was also really flavorful. 🌮 Empanada Oaxaqueña 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟: Best dish of the night! The lamb is tender, juicy, and incredibly aromatic—no gamey taste at all. I usually avoid lamb, but I was blown away by this dish! A must-try! 🐷 Pork Secreto al Pastor 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟: How can roasted pork be this tender?! I always thought Westerners couldn’t cook pork well, but this was amazing. The grilled pineapple on the side is refreshing and cuts through the richness, and the sauce is slightly sweet. My love, my love! Definitely get a tortilla to go with it. 🍄 Mushroom & Shishito 🌟🌟🌟: The sauce deserves five stars—so delicious! Unfortunately, the mushrooms were a bit overcooked, with a slight bitterness on the edges. The sauce saved the dish, though. 🥥 Coconut Nicuatole 🌟🌟🌟🌟: Super unique! Strong coconut flavor with bits of coconut meat, paired with pickled pineapple on the side.
