Second visit to Beertown, a great spot for a casual beer! Restaurant Environment: Located at the corner of Trafalgar & Cornwall, the restaurant features a spacious patio with umbrellas, so you can enjoy the breeze without getting sunburned. Perfect for an outdoor dinner. 🌞🍃 Fruit Beers: Both fruit-flavored beers we tried were incredibly refreshing. Highly recommend the Jelly King for its tangy kick and the Mimosa Sour, which has a delightful orange juice blend. Both are brewed by Ontario breweries. 🍺🍊 The beer menu also has a fantastic selection of local brews, reminiscent of Ossington’s Bellwoods Brewery. 🍻 FISH TACO: Pretty standard, but the fried fish was light and not greasy. Paired with coleslaw and hot sauce, it was quite refreshing. 🌮🐟 BEER’VILLE HOT CHICKEN SANDWICH: The "fried chicken breast" satisfied my boyfriend’s craving for something indulgent yet somewhat healthy. The buttered toasted bread was extra delicious. 🍗🥪 This time, the fries 🍟 weren’t as fresh as the last visit, but the homemade ketchup 🥫 is worth mentioning – it has a BBQ sauce-like blend. Last time, I specifically asked for ketchup for the fries, and the server mentioned it was their homemade version. Bonus Recommendation: Try the MONGOLIAN PORK BELLY SLIDERS from my last visit.
