Canada Richmond's New Restaurant Yokai Tapas Review ๐ฝ๏ธ
I've been feeling like there haven't been any new restaurants opening up in RMD lately. I spotted this one while passing by and immediately made plans to try it! ๐ฎ Aburi Short Ribs: The beef is likely slow-braised, and it's indeed very tender and delicious ๐. ๐ฅฉ Balsamic Kakuni Rice: Although the sauce is good, the meat is quite lean and a bit tough. The essence of authentic Kakuni is missing, and it's not as good as the Kakuni at some barbecue places. ๐ Tuna Tataki: It's just average, nothing special. ๐ Salmon Taco Salad: This is a more fusion-style dish. The Salmon is really hard to describe; although it's diced, the fat lines are very thin, almost non-existent. Seared Scallops: The scallops are really huge!! So satisfying. The Edamame Puree underneath pairs perfectly without any discord. ๐ Uni Cream Udon: It's indeed creamy, and it's quite good. ๐ฅ Sprouts Potato: The best of the night ๐ฏ is this bowl of potatoes. #VancouverFoodie #Vancouver #VancouverLife #VancouverEats #VancouverFoodExploration #VancouverFoodie #VancouverRestaurants #FunInVancouver #VancouverNightlife #VancouverHiddenGems ### Name: Yokai Tapas Address: #140- 8133 Cook Rd, Richmond Type: Restaurant ###
