Canada's Classic Restaurant 🍴 The School Fine Dining
I heard this restaurant used to be a school and has been converted into a dining spot with over 100 years of history, so I was curious to give it a try. The restaurant has a vintage feel to its decor. We arrived early, so it was quite quiet with few people. The waitstaff are elderly gentlemen—very friendly and warm. 👴👴 For appetizers, we had the Grilled Meat Platter and Onion Soup. The sausages and beef in the platter were delicious and quite large—enough to be a main course! 🍖🧅 The onion soup was a bit salty, but the layer of cheese on top was really tasty. For the main course, I had the Rack of Lamb cooked medium. The outside was nicely seasoned while the inside was tender and pink. My boyfriend had the Rib Eye, which was also quite substantial. The mashed potatoes that came with the sides were tasty as well. We couldn’t finish the meat and had to take some home. 🥩🥔 We picked a red wine randomly, and it was just average—nothing special. 🍷😂 The meal was very meaty and filling, so we couldn’t even fit in any dessert. 😅🍰 #TorontoRestaurants #TorontoFood #HiddenGems #WeekendExploration #FoodieLife #RestaurantRecommendations #TorontoLiving #CanadaLife #DateNightSpot ### Name: The School Fine Dining Address: 4121 14th Avenue, Markham, ON, L3R 0J2 Type: Restaurant ###
