Canada｜This place is officially back on my radar😍...

I’m sure all the Toronto folks are familiar with Alo and the downstairs gem, Aloette. Getting a reservation at Alo is notoriously tough, but let’s not forget—Aloette isn’t easy to book either. Last week, by pure chance, I checked Aloette’s availability and found a perfect time slot for that evening. I booked it immediately, and OMG, the food was absolutely amazing😭, plus the drinks were fantastic! I just have to rave about the Used Cadillac and Rockford Peach. The former is a dreamy blend of chocolate liqueur 🍫 + orange 🍊 + cream—my absolute fave! The latter, with gin as the base + peach tea 🍑 + egg white foam, was simply flawless! You must order these when you go! And after you finish, don’t forget to grab another round! Bread 🍞: I’ve seen so many people rave about their bread, and it’s legit! It arrives warm, and the butter 🧈 is incredibly fragrant! You have to take a big bite! Foie Gras Parfait: Anything with foie gras is a must-order for me. Pair it with the crispy toasted bread, and it’s pure bliss. Prawn Ceviche: This is the biggest ceviche I’ve ever seen! Each bite is super satisfying, unlike the tiny portions you get at other places. It’s tangy and super refreshing! Roasted Cauliflower: As a cauliflower lover, I didn’t hesitate for a second. The cauliflower wasn’t overly crispy, but paired with simple seasonings, the flavor was outstanding! Stuffed Morel Mushroom: At first, I thought the mushrooms were stuffed with cheese, but it turned out to be chicken mousse with black truffle! I don’t think the chef even added salt—the flavor was all from the truffle itself! Everything was incredibly delicious. I seriously wanted to order the entire Aloette menu, but I was so full that I couldn’t even get dessert. I’ve heard their lemon cake is fantastic, so a second visit is definitely on the agenda!
