Canada | Time to Eat! Craving This Delicious Dish for Over a Year! 😋🍽️

Finally made it back to La Banane, a place I’ve been dreaming of revisiting. Turns out, it was a Michelin-recommended spot last year! 🍹 Raspberry Barrie: Pretty standard. The egg white foam wasn’t as good as the ones I whip up at home. 🐚 Scallops: I’ve been craving these for a long time! The buttery, creamy flavor pairs perfectly with the scallops. We also added a small spoonful of caviar, which was totally worth it. The oysters are East Coast, and they tasted pretty good. 😌 🥩 Roasted Fish: My friend ordered this famous dish. Although I’m not usually a fan of fish, the sauce was really tasty. Duck Breast deserves a special mention! The crispy skin made me feel like I was eating Peking duck, and the meat underneath was very tender. The only downside might be that it was a bit salty (I found most of the dishes a bit on the salty side). PETITS POIS: This is a chilled bean salad with egg yolk and crab meat – perfect for summer. It’s super refreshing! 👌 Appetizers: Foie Gras is definitely a must-try! It’s delicious with pineapple and a small piece of oil-soaked bread – a pairing you just can’t go wrong with. Beef Tartare was pretty average, with a mustard flavor that was a bit too strong for my taste. All I can say is, the dishes still taste as good as I remember 😢 #TorontoLife #LivingInToronto #Toronto #HiddenGems #FoodieDaily ### Name: La Banane Address: 227 Ossington Ave, Toronto, ON M6J 2Z8, Canada Type: Restaurant ###
