Canada Vancouver Published on Main | Canada's Top Restaurant๐
โญ๏ธ Rating: 4/5 ๐ For our 7th wedding anniversary, my wife and I chose this newly crowned top restaurant in Canada. We made our reservation in April, and they reserve some tables for walk-ins each day. If you get there before 5 PM and queue up, you might just get a chance to dine in! ๐ Torched Yellowtail | A seafood starter with ginger and pickled vegetables. The fish is not overly cured, retaining its fresh flavor and has a great texture. A dish full of Asian vibes. ๐ฃ๐ฟ ๐ Seared Scallop | Perfectly seared scallops paired with green sauce and asparagus. It may seem simple, but itโs a dish that truly tests the chefโs skill. ๐ฅ๐ฝ๏ธ ๐ Chicken Fried Maitake | Fried maitake mushrooms. Itโs surprising to find soul food at such a high-end restaurant, but the seasoning, oil temperature control, and ranch sauce all show impressive quality. ๐๐ ๐ Venison Crudo | Plum and pine nut marinated venison. The seasoning is quite innovative, and since venison is very lean, it lacks the fatiness but has a bit of oiliness from the olive oil and pine nuts. ๐ฆ๐ฐ ๐ Pancake with Morels | Pancakes featuring morels. The pancakes are a bit soggy in the sauce, paired with white cream. A unique texture with the rich taste of forest delicacies. The slightly sweet sauce and warm texture make this a particularly hearty dish. ๐ฅ๐ ๐ Fraser Valley Duck | Local BC duck breast, with an added foie gras. A standard main course, tender meat but quite oily, especially with the foie gras. The garlic lasagna served with it doesnโt quite cut through the richness. ๐ฆ๐ฝ๏ธ ๐ Hey | We opted for just one dessert to cleanse the palateโa refreshing green apple ice surrounding a malt-flavored center, offering a temporary escape from the richness. ๐๐ฆ #Vancouver #VancouverDining #VancouverFoodMap #CanadianRestaurants #FoodBlogger #ExploreRestaurants #HiddenGems ### Name: Published on Main Address: 3593 Main St, Vancouver, BC V5V 3N4 Type: Restaurant ###
