Casa Mono: My Go-To Eats š½ļø
šøCasa Mono has become my go-to spot! Iāve always loved their dishesātheyāre rich and perfect for pairing with drinks. Iāve eaten here many times and even posted about it before. Plus, since they open for lunch, itās super convenient and cozy. (If you donāt drink and worry about feeling too full, be cautious.) š„Ŗ šEver since I tried their Arroz Negro (black rice with cuttlefish and roasted pepper sauce), Iāve been hooked! The rice is perfectly al dente, the sauce is rich and flavorful, and the roasted pepper sauce adds a tangy kick. š½ļø The cuttlefish is always fresh and sometimes cooked to be incredibly tender, though occasionally a bit chewier, but always delicious. A squeeze of lemon adds a refreshing touch. Itās the kind of dish I could eat every day! š² š Today, I tried their daily Specialālamb chops with Couscous. Another standout! The lamb chops were super fresh, with a crispy texture thatās just perfect. The green sauce was rich, garlicky, and had just a hint of spice from the parsley. š The couscous was amazingāmade from coarse semolina, it had a hearty, grainy texture. Their version was larger and chewier, packed with smoky, savory flavors from the bacon, and studded with dried fruits and pistachio crumbs. The combination was incredibly aromatic and satisfying! š š¢ #NewYork #CasaMono #FoodieHeaven š
