👍 Mr. Xi took very good care of us. After having milk in the car, we slept all the way to the homestay and didn't wake up even when moved to the bed, sleeping until 5:30. After the baby finished drinking milk, Papa complained that the bed was too soft and slept on the wooden platform at the foot of the bed, while I went downstairs to catch up on some sleep, waking up at eight-thirty when the sun shone brightly. Papa and I went out to buy bread and dinner ingredients (planning to make pizza with a small oven). ❣️ The nearby town is called Longny-les-Villages. We bought breakfast at the only bakery in town, which was a freshly baked traditionnel, so fragrant. Then we went to the nearby Intermarché to buy milk, lettuce, chicken legs, and pizza ingredients. 👍 Lunch was at Cote Jardin in the same town, an inconspicuous restaurant with a large garden. The set meal was so cheap at 26 euros for three courses. It smelled amazing; in Paris, a similar set meal would cost at least 35 euros. 🧐 Back at the cabin, I experimented with stewing in an iron pot. After lighting the fire, it took about an hour and a half for the temperature to reach body temperature, and then I could add water. Slowly cooking for about 2 hours, it reached about 40 degrees. 👍 It's been a long time since I've soaked in a hot tub other than a bathtub! During this time, Papa rowed a boat, Hammer Brother swam, and the dog pulled the boat.
