Centennial Park | The “Lungs of the City” Hidden in Sydney’s CBD
📍Centennial Park 🚌Take bus 333 or 440 from the city for a direct ride 🌳Centennial Park is known as the “lungs of the city” 🫁 and is one of the world’s leading public parks 😔Previously, due to work stress, I wandered around and accidentally discovered this treasure of green space just a 10-minute drive from the heart of Sydney. The park is vast, with extensive green areas 🍃 and a large lake 💦 in the center. Flocks of black swans, white swans 🦢, and ducks 🦆 all enjoy the tranquility and comfort here. If I were to recommend a “daydreaming” spot in Sydney, this place would definitely be on the list. ✅Here are some leisure activities I recommend at Centennial Park: 1️⃣Hiking 🥾 I walked around the entire park, which took nearly 2 hours. This is truly a natural oxygen bar, perfect for a leisurely stroll. 2️⃣Cycling 🚲 The park has dedicated cycling paths, shaded by trees, making it perfect for a ride without too much sun. 3️⃣Horseback Riding 🐴 There’s a ring of dirt track where you often see people riding horses. You can find the stables if you look around. 4️⃣Picnicking 🍽️ Almost everywhere you look is covered in grass, perfect for a picnic with friends. 5️⃣Daydreaming 😌 When I was under the most stress at work, this place really allowed me to completely zone out. A truly calming place that embodies the magic of the 20-minute park effect to the fullest. ~Sydney’s urban oasis~ ~Enjoy a daydream on the lawn~😌 #SydneyLife #SydneyTravel #SydneyWeekend #SydneyParks #SydneyWithKids #SydneyLeisure #SydneyUni
