Central Park Boathouse Afternoon Tea is Soothing! 🌟
New York in the summer is perfect for long walks, and on weekends, the Boathouse is surprisingly easy to book. Walk-ins aren’t that hard either! 🌞 Occasionally, little boats glide across the lake, and the restaurant’s blue ceiling reflects the ripples of the water. The atmosphere is super chill. The windows provide shade, while the outdoor areas are perfect for sunbathing and taking great photos! ☀️ The chicken liver pâté was surprisingly delicious. The fries are soft and not very crispy, with not much flavor on their own. The oysters aren’t particularly plump, and a half-dozen costs nearly $30. This place isn’t about the food; it’s perfect for chatting, daydreaming, watching people row, and soaking up lots of Vitamin D. It’s the kind of place where you feel like “I can do this” after sitting for a while. 😇 I’ve been here in the winter too. The lake freezes over, and if it snows, the entire surface looks like it’s wrapped in a white blanket. It’s incredibly beautiful! ❄️ This is where Carrie and Mr. Big fell into the lake in Sex and the City. It’s a must-visit spot! It’s so New York! 🥹 📍 Central Park Boathouse #NewYorkTravel #NewYorkExploration 🌆✨
