Centre Pompidou-Metz + Amnéville Thermes de Pompei

🏰🛀💦 Centre Pompidou-Metz, I saw the sign on the way to Metz and realized there’s more than one Pompidou. The design is so unique, with a streamlined dome that looks like it’s wearing a raincoat. The entrance fee is 14€ per person, free for those under 26. Across from the museum, there’s an Italian restaurant called Piopa Lasagna Restaurant. The lasagna is delicious! You can have a full meal for around 20€. The exhibition on the ground floor until early 2024 is “Bonne Chance.” The first floor features a permanent collection of painting arts, The third floor has an interactive art exhibition with games 🎮. There are so many games to play. 📖 Afterward, I picked up a mosaic sprite encyclopedia from the gift shop. ♨️ Actually, the main reason for coming to Metz was for the hot springs. I visited the Thermes de Pompei in Amnéville and booked a 3-hour session for 38€. My hands got all wrinkly from soaking; now I think 2 hours is just perfect… No phones allowed inside, so I took a picture at the entrance. There was no line in the afternoon, but there was a queue when I left at night. Personally, I find the environment just okay, not as good as QC in Chamonix, but it’s fine if you’re not too picky. #ParisSuburbs #NoteInspiration #RomanticLifestyleDocumenter #LifeInFrance #HotSprings #SoakingInHotSprings #HotSpringsInFrance #HotSpringRecommendations #SoakTillYouPrune #DailyPainting #CentrePompidou #ArtExhibitions #Metz #ParisSuburbsTravel #WhereToGoInParisOnTheWeekend #WeekendGetaways
