Cesar 🌟🌟 | Delicious, but Lady, You Really Can't Drink Any More(2)
Let's talk about the dishes that left a lasting impression: 🌟 Hass Avocado Monaka - I added on the N25 caviar, and it was incredibly delicious. When I tasted this dish, I knew the meal was going to be amazing, and it definitely was. Cesar clearly focuses on distinct layers of flavor. 🌟 Sea Urchin with Black Truffle and Brioche - The much-anticipated uni toast was fantastic. One bite, and the freshness of the black truffle, the sweetness of the sea urchin, and the crispness of the brioche all came together. I can only say bravo! 🦪 🌟Red Prawn Parfait - I highly recommend adding caviar to this dish for any friends. It significantly enhances the texture of the red prawn. Each layer is incredibly rich, and the transition from soft and tender to the grainy texture of the caviar is very noticeable. 🍤 Flan with Crab and Wood Ear Mushroom - This dish felt like a Japanese-style tea bowl steam, comforting my already tipsy soul. The crab meat and tofu were a perfect match. 🍣 North Sea Turbot with Chanterelle Mushroom Vermouth Sauce - This dish brought back memories of Le Bernadin's dove sole, but Cesar's version was even better. 🐟 The service wasn't as bad as some people on XHS mentioned. The wine pouring wasn't perfectly timed—I had an empty glass for a bit—but overall, I'd say the service was at a Michelin-acceptable level. 🌟There was no issue with arriving early and being turned away. French cuisine, after all, doesn't have the same quirks as omakase. 😜 $621 per person (caviar add-on $80) #NewYorkLife #Cesar 🌆🌟
