Chamonix - Mont Blanc | Short Hiking Recommendations

❣️ Chamonix in France is a paradise for outdoor sports, with not only dining, entertainment, and shopping in the town but also many outdoor sports brand stores. Multiple cable cars on the mountain ridge lead to various short-hiking starting points and endpoints. 🧐 Most visitors here take the high-speed cable car to the Aiguille du Midi to gaze at Mont Blanc from afar, but for safety reasons, children under three years old and those who cannot take this cable car are not allowed. Therefore, we chose two short routes for hiking, which we recommend to friends who do or do not go up the Aiguille du Midi. 👍 We drove from Paris, a one-way trip of 6.5 hours. If not driving, you need to transfer by train. There are many hotels in the town, and our hotel is well-located with its own parking lot, right next to the main street, with a balcony facing Mont Blanc and the glacier. The downside is that the rooms have no air conditioning or refrigerator, so we don't recommend it. 🧩 Recommended hiking route ①: Take the small cable car PLAN PEAZ from Chamonix to Funi at an altitude of 2000 meters, then switch to the large cable car to LE BREVENT at 2525 meters. The view of Mont Blanc is great here, and then you can hike towards La Flégère on the right side of the mountain along the red route, but this route is not suitable for dogs, so we chose to take the cable car back down to Funi at 2000 meters from LE BREVENT and walk the yellow route to La Flégère. #France #Chamonix #Travel diary #Traveling with a puppy #Guide #Recommendation #Best travel plan
