Charleston in 3 Days & 2 Nights ๐ด๐ธ๐ด
A charming Southern coastal city and the filming location for famous movies like Gone With the Wind and The Notebook! Surprisingly fun, photogenic, and delicious! Activities Carriage Tour ๐ A relaxing downtown tour โ the route is chosen by lottery! The guide shares fun histories of the buildings you pass. Perfect for lazy explorers ๐ Rainbow Row ๐ A must-visit for photos! Not too crowded and very chillโฆ but mosquitoes are ruthless ๐ฆ โ bring spray! I got bitten like crazy. Pineapple Fountain ๐ A bit overrated tbh โ quick stop for a pic is enough. City Market ๐๏ธ Nice to stroll through if you have time. We found cute fridge magnets here! Cypress Gardens ๐ The Notebook filming spot โ the swamp lake is magical! Highly recommend ๐ซ Middleton Place ๐ We hoped to see sheep grazing, but they were penned up ๐. $29 online ticket includes 3 tours โ the most meaningful one was about enslaved Black history. ๐ Food & Drinks Pho 79 ๐ Really good pho โ way better than what weโve had in NC! Iron Rose at Mills House Hotel ๐ฅฉ Delicious crab soup + steak. Also, their cafรฉ makes an amazing Cuban sandwich โ skip the basic coffee though. The Pass ๐ฅช Italian sandwich spot โ not our vibe ๐ Lewis BBQ ๐ Must-try ribs! The lean brisket was a bit dry โ go for moist cut next time. Slightly North of Broad ๐ฆ Excellent Southern food! Loved the shrimp & grits, clams, and chicken breast โ a tad salty though. Maybe ask for less salt? Hotel The Mills House ๐จ Beautiful historic decor, but rooms are small and dated. The ventilation noise kept us up all night ๐ดโฆ We didnโt sleep well. โ Verdict: Charleston is totally worth a second visit! #Charleston #FoodieTravel #SouthernCharm #TravelGuide #HistoricCharleston #MovieLocations
