Charleston Place: A Gem with a Few Surprises! 💎🏨

We stayed at The Charleston Place last weekend and had a largely wonderful experience. The hotel staff were truly incredible—attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. Their outstanding service was definitely a highlight of our stay. 👏✨ That said, we did encounter a few issues worth noting. We arrived around 3:45 PM, but our room wasn’t ready until about 4:30. While the wait wasn’t long, timing matters, especially at a hotel of this caliber. ⏳😕 We stayed in Room 434. The room itself was beautiful, with high-end furnishings, decor, and amenities—from the quality drinking water and coffee setup to the overall elegant atmosphere. However, our window looked directly out onto a construction site. Unfortunately, this wasn’t mentioned at booking, and it did detract from the hotel’s otherwise charming vibe. 🏗️🌆 Normally, a view isn’t a big deal—my wife and I love exploring the city. But when it rained, we found ourselves spending more time indoors. A fresher, more pleasant view would have made a real difference mentally. 🌧️💭 Aside from the delayed check-in and the disappointing view, our stay was excellent. The Charleston Place is a beautiful hotel with a fantastic team.
