Revisiting Charleston felt like stepping into a timeless dream — the old town remains beautifully unchanged, as if preserved in a gentle, sun-drenched memory.☺️ This time, I explored Middleton Place for the first time. We arrived early, and only a few families were strolling through the grounds, making it feel like we had the entire estate to ourselves. Walking along the shaded gravel paths beneath ancient, moss-draped trees, with sunlight filtering through the branches like liquid gold 🌳💫, was pure magic. A cool breeze drifted from the glimmering lake in the distance, washing over us and calming the soul instantly. It’s been years since I watched Gone with the Wind, and I couldn’t quite match the scenes to this real-life paradise — it felt even more grand and serene than the silver screen could ever capture.✨ A highlight? The on-site restaurant was surprisingly delightful! 🍽️ The flavors were rich and authentically Southern, making our hours spent there utterly worth it.
