Checking In at New York's Kopitiam 🌟
Today, I want to share a Malaysian restaurant near Chinatown called Kopitiam. 🍽️ 📍 151 E Broadway, New York, NY 10002 🎢 Their most famous dish is the Kaya Toast. The bread is grilled to a crispy perfection with butter and comes with a coconut jam inside. It's a bit sweet for my taste, but I can see why it's a favorite for many! 🥪 🍃The Pan Mee reminds me of satay noodles, with a slightly sweet broth that's very Southeast Asian. 🍜 The Nyonya Zongzi (rice dumplings) are delicious! The peanuts inside really add flavor, and the glutinous rice is perfectly soft and sticky. 🥣 The Oyster Pancake is great too, with large, plump oysters! 🦪 🌊 The Braised Duck Tongue is super tasty and pairs well with drinks. I can imagine how happy I'd be eating duck tongue while watching TV. 🦆 The coffee has that classic Southeast Asian flavor. ☕ 🎢In short, if you're into Southeast Asian cuisine, this place is definitely worth a try! The prices are very reasonable too. 💰 See you all next time! #NewYork 🌆🌟
