๐I finally got to visit Mr Cake, to taste their limited-time semla pancake! I had been craving it ever since I saw the official Instagram photos, and as soon as I arrived at the store, I saw the long line in the fifth picture. This queue never shortened from the moment I got there to the moment I left! The customers were non-stop, it's definitely a super famous shop!๐๐๐ ๐When the dish was served, I was amazed by the portion size, it's huge! Thick layers of American-style pancakes were stacked with almond paste, two big scoops of vanilla ice cream, a large dollop of fresh cream, and then sprinkled with cinnamon roll crisps and almonds. It's really sincere! One serving is 135kr, a bit pricey, but highly recommended to try. The taste is on the sweeter side, and it's suggested to order one serving for two people with black coffee๏ฝ๐๐๐ ๐I think it doesn't look as good as bakeries like Lillebrors, but what's special is that they also have a semla variant similar to a croissant donut.
