📍 Épicerie Boulud I’ve walked by this place so many times but didn’t know it was Daniel Boulud’s pastry shop. This time, I made a point to try several items. 🥧 👉🏼 Éclair (Lightning Puff): Both the chocolate and coffee flavors are delicious! The sweetness is just right—not cloying at all. 🍫 👉🏼 Gateau Basque (Basque Cake): I absolutely loved it! The cheese layer is super dense, smooth, and melts in your mouth. The crispy bottom is rich with buttery flavor. 🍰 👉🏼 Raspberry Pistachio Tart: The sweetness is very low, and the raspberries are super fresh, but I couldn’t really taste the pistachio. 🍓 👉🏼 Jambon Beurre (Cheese and Ham Baguette): The crispy baguette is filled with savory ham and creamy cheese. It’s a simple yet delicious combination. 🥖 👉🏼 Matcha Latte: It’s very authentic (I saw the barista carefully frothing the matcha).
