Chelsea’s Hidden Gem Brunch Spot – Easy to Book & Delicious! 🥞☕️
New Yorkers’ favorite weekend activity? BRUNCH! 🥂🍳 Basically, every popular brunch spot is packed to the brim on weekends. 🚶♀️🚶♂️ This place is called Grey Dog, with several locations in Manhattan. The Chelsea branch is a true gem—I was able to book a table for 4 at 1 PM on a Saturday…on a Friday night! 🕺✨ 🐔 Fried Chicken Bites A shared appetizer with crispy-on-the-outside, tender-on-the-inside chicken coated in a sweet sauce. A bit of Southern soul food vibes—so good! 🍗🔥 ☕️ Coffee The coffee here is way better than the usual brunch spot mediocrity. At least the latte art is on point! But with so many great coffee options around NYC, you might want to try juice or mimosas instead. 🥂🍹 🥚 Omelette The omelette itself looked pretty simple (maybe because my friend ordered the healthy option), but it came with a mountain of fries and two slices of buttered bread. So much for eating light! 🍳🍟 🥣 Breakfast Bowl There were actually two breakfast bowls in the pic—one with a poached egg, and mine with scrambled eggs (because I can’t handle runny yolks). Overall, it was refreshing and healthy. The avocado and zucchini were fresh, and the hummus at the bottom was fragrant without any weird sourness. The bread was a bit too hard for me, so I skipped it and went straight for my friend’s pancakes… 🥑🍞 🍗🥞 Chicken & Pancakes The fried chicken was crispy, similar to the appetizer but with a different sauce. There was a layer of maple butter in the middle and a side of syrup. The pancakes had a strong corn flavor, almost like cornbread—so good! I could eat them plain without syrup. Just a heads-up: this dish is super filling. 🥞🍯 In summary, the food here is solid—not mind-blowing, but no disappointments either. The real win? It’s easy to book and group-friendly! A reliable option for catching up with friends. 🥂👫 #BrunchLife #NYCLiving #WhatToEatInNYC #NYCFoodGuide #NYCEats #NYCWeekends #NYCThanksgiving #FoodieLife #EatAllDay
