Chiang Rai Thai Food – A Disappointing Trend-Following Experience πŸ›πŸš«

This Thai restaurant has been hyped up online and even has Michelin recognition. We arrived at 6 PM on a Saturday and waited a full hour to be seated. β³πŸ˜‘ πŸ—πŸ—πŸ—πŸ—πŸ— Roti Combo: The one decent dish. The fried chicken was juicy and not too dry. The roti was okay, but honestly, store-bought Spring Home paratha is just as good. The curry flavor was nice, but it was watery and thin. πŸ’§ 🍜🍜🍜🍜🍜 Khao Soi (Northern Thai Curry Noodles): The biggest letdown. The noodles looked crispy but turned soggy in the broth. The curry was so salty we had to add two cups of hot water just to eat it! πŸ’£πŸ’§ 🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍 Pineapple Fried Rice: Way too saltyβ€”couldn’t finish it. πŸ’£ πŸ₯€πŸ₯€πŸ₯€πŸ₯€πŸ₯€ Thai Iced Tea: Averageβ€”nothing special. Overall, it’s just an ordinary Thai spot. If you haven’t tried it, maybe give it a go, but it’s definitely not worth waiting an hour for. πŸ™…β™€οΈβ° #ThreeMealsFourSeasons #LosAngeles #California #USA #HypeRestaurant #ThaiFood #ThaiCuisine #LongBeach #FoodReview #NotWorthTheWait #Overrated
