❗️Recently made a whirlwind trip to the U.S. and squeezed in 3 action-packed days in Chicago. While it’s enough to hit the highlights, I’d recommend more time to truly soak in the city’s vibe! 🔸 DAY 1: Zoo, Beaches & Skyline Views 05:04 AM – Landed at ORD (T1), dropped bags at the hotel, freshened up, and hit the ground running! 1️⃣ Lincoln Park Zoo 🦁 Free admission! Spent 2 hours marveling at the animals in this lush, relaxed setting. 2️⃣ North Avenue Beach 🏖️ 20-min walk from the zoo. Sunny skies + lake views = endless photo ops! 3️⃣ Navy Pier 🎡 Stormed over to the iconic pier for Ferris wheel snaps. 4️⃣ Magnificent Mile ☕ Detoured to the world’s largest Starbucks (because caffeine is life). 5️⃣ 360 Chicago 🌇 Booked the 6:30 PM slot—perfect for golden hour and nighttime skyline magic! 🔸 DAY 2: Burgers, Chinatown & Architectural Wonders 1️⃣ Hamburger University 🍔 "Enrolled" at McDonald’s HQ! The Japan-limited McFlurry was chef’s kiss. Loved the neighborhood’s chill energy. 2️⃣ Chinatown 🏮 Small but mighty! Scored amazing ginseng tea bags (souvenir win). 3️⃣ Millennium Park 🌳 Checked off Cloud Gate ("The Bean") + Crown Fountain’s playful spitting faces. 4️⃣ Architecture Boat Tour 🚢 6:15 PM departure near Michigan Ave. Bonus: A surreal sandstorm turned the skyline into an apocalyptic painting! 🔸 DAY 3: Art Marathon & Downtown Wandering 1️⃣ Art Institute of Chicago 🎨 Spent 5 hours here—still couldn’t see everything! Masterpieces > my stamina. 2️⃣ Downtown Exploration 📸 Hit photo-worthy spots until my legs gave out. ✅ Final Thoughts: Best Time to Visit: May’s mild pre-summer weather was ideal.
