Children's Book Forest ๐ฒ
๐ The design and arrangement of the "Life and Death" themed bookshelf are truly impressive. ๐๐ฟ The theme slogan is taken from a line in the picture book "The Cat Who Lived a Million Times" by Yoko Sano: "I've died a million times!" ๐ฑโจ ๐ Don't miss the cylindrical tower-like space in the corner of the basement. This is a lounge designed specifically for children by Tadao Ando, filled with his signature design ingenuity. ๐๐ฟ There are no decorative furnishings here; light streams through the circular opening in the ceiling, illuminating the surrounding walls. Occasionally, animations inspired by book content, such as "The Little Prince" and "Kiki's Delivery Service," are projected onto the walls. ๐ฌ ๐ The library also hides some details that only children can discover. If you're not in a hurry, sit by the window facing the river and read a bookโit's a truly profound travel experience. ๐ธ ๐๐ฟ #OsakaTravel #ChildrensBookForest #TadaoAndo #ChildrensLibrary ๐๐ฟ
