Choosing Hotels in Japan: West Park Hyatt, East Hoshinoya(2)

To everyone who aspires to visit Izu, please do your homework on transportation in advance! 🍻 Taxis can't be hailed without a local number, and the hotel can't call one for you either. Friends heading to the Izu Shaboten Zoo, Matcha Mountain, and Kiseki Coast must either rent a car or check the bus schedules carefully. 🚌 ✅ If your budget allows, it's recommended to stay two nights at Hoshinoya Izu, and book through their official website. For our trip, we chose a room with breakfast and a standard private hot spring. Later, we emailed to reserve the set dinner and a premium private hot spring. Why recommend a two-night stay? 🍮 Firstly, if you fail to book in advance, there's a higher chance that at least one of the two nights you can get your preferred hot spring experience—either the Premium Gazebo (which can be reserved via email in advance) or the standard hot spring (booked upon check-in). 🫖Secondly, both breakfast and dinner at Hoshinoya are sumptuous. The lobby offers complimentary afternoon tea 🍨 and snacks daily, as well as free drinks and wine during the evening happy hour 🍷☕️. 🍮 Take some time to lounge on the hotel's comfortable sofas, savoring the food, drinks, and the view. Let your mind go blank and just focus on the azure sea—it's incredibly relaxing. 🫖The lobby is beautifully designed and perfect for photos, achieving a harmonious blend of man-made architecture and the natural environment. 🌊🌿 #IzuTravel #HotelExperience 🌟
