Christmas Holiday in Manhattan, New York ๐ฝ
This time in New York, I stayed at the Hilton Midtown. The location is fantastic, close to Central Park and just one block away from MoMA. For someone like me who loves visiting museums, it couldn't be more convenient! ๐ณ However, the downside was that the hotel elevators often had long waits, but using the service elevator was a quick fix. ๐ The main goal of this trip was to explore the Met and MoMA. To be honest, one day isn't enough for the Met. I had so much fun exploring from opening time until evening, and I'll definitely be back! ๐จ MoMA, on the other hand, is incredibly elegant. There are many pieces that I couldn't fully appreciate, but you can cover most of the exhibits in two to three hours. If you're a fan of Impressionist art, the Met has a much larger collection compared to MoMA. ๐๏ธ ๐ For dining, I randomly visited a few nearby restaurants with decent ratings. For breakfast, I had a salmon bagel at 1 Hotel Central Park. It was really tasty! ๐ On the first day, I suddenly craved Chinese food and headed to Bites of Xi'an 56. The food was quite good, and it's a great spot for those who aren't used to foreign cuisine. ๐ Kin Ramen's miso flavor was just okay. Maybe other flavors would suit me better, and the price was pretty steep. I wouldn't recommend it. ๐ I tried two steakhouses: ๐ La Grande Boucherie Gallagherโs Steakhouse NYC I felt the beef quality at La Grande Boucherie was slightly better, but Gallagherโs signature sauce added a unique flavor. Plus, the side dishes at Gallagherโs are generous in portion. I ordered half portions, and they were quite affordable ($7 and $8 each). ๐ #NewYork #Manhattan #Travel ๐
