Clearing Out Inventory: Ranting about New York's Andaz 5th Avenue (2)

Location and Arrival The location isn't too bad, right across from the library. Every time I pass by, I'm almost stunned by the beauty of the library. 😅 However, the hotel itself is next to a construction site that's cordoned off. The entrance is almost invisible, and the map keeps directing the car to the wrong side of the street. 🌸🍃 When you get out of the car, no one acknowledges you or opens the door. 🚗 One Good Thing 😅 The one thing I have to commend is the high ceiling on the ground floor. That might be the only plus point. 🌟 Check-in Experience 🌸🍃 Check-in was relatively smooth, but I couldn't quite appreciate the novel setup of three people standing in a circle with three computers in the lobby. During check-in, I was formally informed that all non-alcoholic items in the mini bar are free. 😅 My expectations were sky-high. When I entered the room and saw the mini bar, I actually laughed. 🌸🍃It contained just one piece of chocolate and a bag of Cape Cod chips. Isn't this the basic snack combo for a midday lecture back in student days? These two items are so sparsely placed, with too much empty space on the shelf. It looks a bit pitiful, doesn't it? 😂 #NewYork 😅
