Cleveland | Can’t Believe I Ate Jiangxi Food in Cleveland! 🍜

Never thought I’d get to try Jiangxi cuisine in the U.S.—it’s such a niche regional Chinese food that I never even dared to hope. 🥹 Over Thanksgiving, a friend took me to Wen’s Kitchen. Rumor has it the owner is from Jiangxi, and my friend’s husband—a true Jiangxi native—certified it as authentic! ✅ The storefront is super tiny 🏪—we even had to wait a few minutes for a table at lunchtime. The menu doesn’t look like a typical Jiangxi place at first glance… it’s got all kinds of dishes. So we ordered everything marked as “Gan” (Jiangxi style). ✨ Nanchang Stir-Fried Rice Noodles – So legit and full of wok hei! 🔥 ✨ Crispy Fish Maw – Salty and savory. Not for those who prefer mild flavors, but perfect with rice! 🍚 My friend also recommended the pig trotters and grilled skewers, but those are pretty common in Chicago—nothing too special. Since we came all this way, I wanted something hard to find elsewhere. That Stir-Fried Rice Noodles? 10/10 recommend! 🙌 #FoodReview #ClevelandEats #ClevelandFood #ClevelandTravel #JiangxiCuisine #HiddenGems #FoodieAdventure
