Cleveland Day Trip | A Quiet Escape to the "Smart Island"

Just looking at these photos makes me tired again 😂 Cleveland turned out to be a beautiful and surprisingly quiet city — maybe a little too quiet? 🏛️ The Arcade A stunning and elegant historic mall, now part of a Hyatt hotel. The architecture alone is worth the visit — grand, intricate, and full of charm. 🌆 But Downtown... We went on a weekday, and let’s just say… it was empty. Seriously empty — like, “where-is-everyone?” level quiet 🏙️ 👻Edgewater Park 6500 Cleveland Memorial Shoreway, Cleveland, OH 44102 The only signs of life were in the parks — a bit more lively, with people strolling or sitting around. ✅ Silver Lining?
