Cleveland Food Review|Wild Mango — Asian Fusion 🍛
What’s it like eating Asian fusion in the countryside? Since one of my friends only likes Asian food, we ended up at Wild Mango in Crocker Park. The interior is so upscale it looks like a steakhouse that costs $200 per person—but don’t worry, it’s actually under $50! 💵 This place is seriously carb-heavy and the portions are huge. Three main dishes were more than enough for four people (each main could easily feed two, tbh). Oh, and the complimentary bread is delicious!!! 🥖 But you have to ask for it—they didn’t even bring it at first. 【Chicken Potstickers】 Pretty small and not very crispy, but the seasoning was nice. 【Baby Fried Calamari】 Tasty! 🦑 The wonton wrapper was just okay, but honestly… every fried calamari in Cleveland seems to hit the spot. 【Stuffed Chicken】 The egg fried rice under the chicken was so good! 🍚 The chicken is wrapped in bacon and stuffed with spinach and cheese—pretty decent! 【Roasted Duck】 The eggplant was delicious!!! 🍆 The duck sauce was a bit too sweet, but overall it was alright (the risotto was just okay, and I prefer my duck cooked medium). 【Bouillabaisse】 Now this is real fusion. I’ve never actually ordered bouillabaisse in a French restaurant, but this was a Southeast Asian curry noodle soup with mussels, clams, super tender fish, shrimp, and scallops. 🍲 A bit on the fishy side, but actually quite good—ranked second best after the bread! 【Sautéed Scallop】 The risotto had watermelon in it… 🍉 I didn’t really get it, but my friend loved it. The scallops came in a thin mushroom cream sauce—friend approved! I thought it was just okay 👍 #ClevelandEats #AsianFusion #WildMango #FoodReview #OhioFoodie #CrockerPark #FoodieAdventure
