Cleveland Travel Guide & Must-Voist Spots 📍✨
Starting point as usual: Cleveland Script Sign → Tremont 🚶♂️ 1️⃣ Cleveland Script Sign 📸 A must-do tourist photo spot! There are actually three of these signs across the city — East Side, West Side, and Downtown. If you’re short on time, just head to the downtown one — quick and iconic! 2️⃣ West Side Market 🧀🥓🍎 Used to be super popular, but post-pandemic… it’s just okay. You’ll find cheeses, ham, fruits, and basic market goods. Pretty small — you can walk through in 5-10 mins. Not a must-see anymore 😅 3️⃣ Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 🎸 Great for rock music fans! Whether it’s worth it really depends on your personal taste. 4️⃣ Lakefront Nature Preserve 🌊 Nice for a summer stroll when you’re short on time. There’s also a fishing spot nearby. ⚠️ Avoid in fall/winter — super windy and cold! 🍂 Instead, go to Rocky River Reservation or Cuyahoga Valley National Park for gorgeous Ohio fall colors! 🔁 Remember: Summer → Lakeside | Fall → Parks 🍁 5️⃣ Cleveland Museum of Art 🖼️ You HAVE to go here!! They have Monet’s Water Lilies, plus a Chinese section with calligraphy, paintings, and Qing dynasty porcelain (mostly civilian pieces, not many imperial). Audio guides are available — check the website for info. ⏳ Without a guide: ~2 hours. With guide: plan extra time. ℹ️ Note: Sometimes the Water Lilies is out on loan. 6️⃣ Severance Music Center 🎻🎶 Home of the Cleveland Orchestra (one of America’s “Big Five”!). They perform famous symphonies here around October, and also host New Year’s concerts. Tickets are affordable (most expensive ~$120). The performances are top-notch! 👏 🎵 In summer, the orchestra is often on tour or playing outdoor concerts — rarely in the hall. —————————————— Why no food recommendations? 🍽️ Cleveland isn’t known for its food scene compared to other cities. 🛍️ Shopping? Not much either — but if you really want to shop, try Beachwood Place + Saks Fifth Avenue. It’s connected and fairly complete. 📌 Summary: Cleveland = Strong in arts & culture 🎭, average in food 🥪. Still — hope everyone visiting has a lovely time! Clevelanders — feel free to add or correct! 💬❤️ #Cleveland #TravelGuide #CLE #MusicCity #ArtLover #OhioTravel #FallColors #Symphony #ExploreCleveland
