Climbing the Yosemite National Park
Today I finally stood beneath El Capitan in Yosemite National Park. Years ago, I watched a documentary about the protection of Yosemite, which ultimately helped drive the creation of the U.S. national park system. That iconic valley, enclosed by towering rock, was silent and solemn—like a natural cathedral. ⛰️✨ A few years ago, the movie Free Solo shocked me again: that almost vertical, smooth rock face—El Capitan—was conquered by a brave soul, inspiring even more awe! 🤯🧗♂️ Today, crossing mountains and rivers, I finally stand before El Capitan. Looking up at the huge and straight rock wall, the jaw-dropping scenes from the movie flash back again—I truly pay my respects! 🙌💥 It is indeed a world-class geological park, with towering rocks throughout the park, California redwoods that have stood for thousands of years, shooting straight into the sky. 🌲☁️ Waterfalls plunge thousands of feet, crashing into rock beaches, forming clear streams that trickle downward. 💦🌊 The beautiful scenery makes one linger—it is the treasure that nature shows us. 🌿🌈 #US #CA
