Colombo trip guide

Colombo is usually a transit point, and it's best to visit it on the last day. When traveling in a counterclockwise direction, the last day's route is typically from Galle to Colombo, and you can also check out the seaside train along the way. šŸšž Seaview Train There's no need to take the whole journey; the most classic section is from Mount Lavinia to Kollupitiya, which is about 20 minutes and covers 4 stations. The ticket costs only 40 cents. The station will have signs indicating the next train's departure time, but it often runs late. šŸØ National Museum of Colombo To understand the history of Sri Lanka, the museum houses various cultural relics. The information is all in English, which might be a bit hard to understand, and the reading speed is slow. Mainly, there's no air conditioning, so it can be a bit hot. The entrance fee is 1500 rupees. šŸµt-Lounge by Dilmah When it's hot, go and check out the milk tea at this Dilmah brand tea shop. It's both visually appealing and delicious. It closes at 7 pm, so it's worth visiting in the afternoon. It's close to the Ministry of Crab. You can find it by searching for "lounge by Dilmah – Chatham Street" on Google. #Colombo#National Museum of Colombo #t-Lounge by Dilmah#trip diary
