Continuing my food journey from Denver to Aspen — and for our last meal before leaving town, we craved Mexican food. We randomly picked a highly-rated spot and were blown away! Delicious, huge portions, great atmosphere, and super affordable. 📍 La Loma They have two locations in Denver — we visited the downtown one. Street parking is available nearby. 💰 Around $20 per person — seriously a steal for the quality, flavor, and portion size! Weekday afternoons also have happy hour with cocktails and appetizers for just a few dollars. 🍹 🌟 The menu is massive — if you love Mexican food, you’ll definitely find something you like. We ordered a bunch of dishes and loved every one! ❤️ Fajitas - Grilled Prime New York Strip So many fajita options — I went with the steak. High-quality meat, perfectly grilled, served sizzling on a hot plate. Eat it with tortillas and fixings to make your own tacos. Comes with a side of green chili chicken — spicy and full of flavor! ❤️ Spinach & Chicken Quesadilla Crispy on the outside, cheesy and savory inside. The marinated chicken and spinach combo is a winner — so comforting and tasty. ❤️ La Loma Combo Listed as an appetizer, but it’s huge! A platter of assorted taquitos and flautas with different meats and veggies. Every bite was delicious, and the guacamole on top was fresh and creamy. ❤️ Chile Con Queso Warm, melty, loaded with tomatoes and peppers — my cheesy dream come true! Perfect for dipping. 🍸 Peach Margarita Refreshing and not too sweet. You can choose between frozen or on the rocks — I went frozen and loved it. 💥 Overall, an amazing meal with friendly service. Everything was flavorful, generously portioned, and budget-friendly. Happy hour makes it even better!
