Colorado Food【6】Uni Rice Bowl|Denver 🍱✨

Sushi Ronin Denver - Sushi and Sake Bar 📍 2930 15th St, Denver, CO 80211 Overall rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ‼️ Recommendation only for sashimi lovers with strong stomachs! If you find raw fish fishy, skip this review. 🔘 Uni Rice Bowl (Uni-Don) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A must-order! Fragrant, fresh, sweet uni with zero fishy taste. Mix in a bit of wasabi soy sauce — so aromatic! The seaweed and shredded nori are perfectly prepared — pretty and tasty. And the rice — the real star! Some of the best rice I’ve had in the US, lightly vinegared and subtly seasoned — sweet and delicious! 🔘 Wagyu Nigiri ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tender, juicy, not dry even when cooked more. Paired with sushi rice — amazing! 🔘 Sashimi / Nigiri ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Quality is above average, though some cuts tasted previously frozen (maybe for easier slicing). Freshness is still good. You can order nigiri or a sashimi platter — the sushi rice really shines in the nigiri. Sweet shrimp: clean, sweet, no fishiness — finishes with a pleasant aftertaste. Don’t miss the fried shrimp head — crispy, meaty, with fragrant roe! Bluefin tuna (ask if available): Finally found good bluefin in Denver — highly recommend! Summary: A solid upscale Japanese spot. Two bars — food bar and drink bar. The bartender is knowledgeable and friendly — great for drinks and fried snacks. Complimentary side dishes help balance the rich fish flavors. Skip the rolls — they’re filling, heavy on rice, and less generous with fish for the price. Go for the uni rice bowl — it’s unforgettable! Four stars because the sashimi didn’t fully meet my top expectations, but still highly recommended. #DenverFood #JapaneseFoodReview #Sashimi #UniRice 🍣🏮💖
