Columbia University's 4.8-Rated Grand Feast π
Starting from the school, walk along Broadway for about 10 blocks, then turn left onto Amsterdam Avenue. It's about a 15-minute walk, and you'll find Grand Feast, a highly-rated Italian restaurant with a Google rating of 4.8. π π’π The restaurant offers both outdoor and indoor seating options. When we arrived around 1 pm, there were about a dozen tables occupied, but only one waiter was on duty. Both the service and the food delivery speeds were a bit concerning. π π’πTwo of us ordered the clam pasta, a steak, and a seafood appetizer. The clams were slightly salty, but the pasta and cheese were well-mixed and very delicious. The medium-rare steak was perfectly seared, with plenty of juices. The seafood appetizer was also a bit salty, which might be a signature of the place. π€ It's still in the teens in terms of temperature, so sitting by the street allows you to enjoy the sun while dining. The total bill, including tips, came to $80. π’π Overall, I highly recommend the pasta and steak, while the seafood was a bit less impressive. If you're a fan of Italian cuisine, it's worth a try, but be prepared for slower service and food delivery. π #NewYork #ColumbiaUniversity ππ
