Conrad New York Downtown Check - in Experience (1)π¨
I stayed at Conrad Midtown before the pandemic last year. That one had just been renovated, and all the rooms were suites. π’πΈ Plus, it was located on the famous 57th Street, which is full of luxury brands. π This time, I booked in a hurry. The double rooms on the island were almost all gone, so I decided to try out the Conrad New York Downtown near Wall Street. π ππΏThe rooms in Manhattan are quite high - standard, considering the location. Each room has a separate living area, and the bathroom, even though it's inside the room, has sliding doors to separate it from the living room and bedroom. The ceiling is a bit low, and the lighting is on the dim side. From the design style, it seems like it's been a while since the last renovation. But overall, it still meets the Conrad standard. π π° The basic room I booked was the Premier Double bed. It cost around $700 with tax on that day. As we all know, Hilton, with its Diamond status everywhere, doesn't offer too many perks. The room was only upgraded to a Deluxe Double bed. The front desk guy told us we'd have a view of the Hudson River, but after searching for a while, we could only catch a tiny glimpse of it from a 178 - degree angle of the window. π #NewYork ππΊ
