🏨 Conrad Orlando FHR Stay

Yearly Orlando getaway ⛱️ This time I booked Conrad Orlando through Amex FHR — wanted to check out the new hotel while visiting the parks. Since I didn’t travel abroad this year and still had my Amex FHR credit to use, it was the perfect opportunity! Sharing my FHR experience with you all~ Check-in & Upgrade We arrived around noon, and the front desk kindly arranged early check-in for us 🕛. They also gifted us a beautiful chocolate box as a welcome treat! Because I mentioned in advance via email that it was an anniversary trip, we got upgraded from a Park View King (no balcony) to a Lake View King with balcony 🏞️. The upgrade was attributed to FHR booking + Hilton Gold status (and probably low season too 😂). Very happy with it! Room Experience The room is decorated in a modern style — clean and minimalist. The bed was super comfortable 🛏️ — I passed out instantly after long park days. Nice touches like Byredo toiletries 🧴 (lovely scent!). Only downside: soundproofing isn’t great — you can hear noise from the hallway. Breakfast & Dining We received a $45 daily breakfast credit per person ($90 for two). The restaurant on the first floor serves a Continental buffet — decent options and good portions 🥐☕. Enough to keep you full till lunch. We also used the FHR $100 food credit + an extra $50 from Hilton Gold for dinner at the hotel. Prices are reasonable compared to Boston/NY, but the food and presentation were just okay — not impressive. Service was also a bit lacking. We ordered a steak, pasta, and an appetizer — exactly used up the credit. Hotel Vibe The pool area feels like a real resort: sunshine, white sand, loungers, and a pool bar 🍹🏖️ — amazing atmosphere! You can even go paddle boating — a cool feature. The hotel is huge, new, and fully staffed. A nice surprise: sunscreen! I forgot mine and thought I’d have to buy some… but turns out Conrad Cove (by the pool) provides large bottles of Reef Project sunscreen 🧴 — free to use! Lightweight and easy to apply. Got me hooked! Transport & Downsides The hotel offers a shuttle to Disney parks (not to Disney Springs), though we didn’t use it. Main cons are related to service: staff were friendly but not exceptionally attentive. We also didn’t receive turndown service during our stay. ✅ Final Thoughts Overall, a much better FHR experience than most U.S. properties I’ve tried — though still not as good as FHR hotels in Asia. Great choice if you want to balance Disney fun and resort relaxation! #ConradOrlando #OrlandoTravel #Orlando #Disney ✨
