Cool Off at Gōyō Sato Sakura Museum in Tokyo This Summer (1)🌸

This exhibition made me fall in love with Japanese painting! Because the medium of Japanese painting mixes natural mineral powders for drawing πŸƒπŸŒΈ I loved the four flower paintings on the left as soon as I entered the third floor. Their titles are "Ame no Hi," "Renso," "Yuki Ahi," and "Kan." Each painting is accompanied by a selected Japanese poem from the "Kokin Wakashu" or "Man'yoshu." The paper design with the poems is especially exquisite and gorgeous, bringing out the Japanese people's sentiment for nature to the fullest. πŸƒπŸŒΈ The exhibition is called "Coolness: Enjoying the Summer." The selected paintings feature streams and plants, which are very refreshing. The museum's air conditioning is also set at a relatively low temperature. Most of the paintings are quite large and very impressive. Looking closely at the details and sitting on a chair to appreciate the overall atmosphere from a distance will give you very different feelings. πŸƒπŸŒΈ The trees and plants at the bottom look like a sea of green, but each green is different. One painting meticulously depicts seven or eight different kinds of plants, with colors echoing each other and a good sense of rhythm. #Tokyo 🌟✨
