Copenhagen | Louisiana Museum
✅The Louisiana Museum is a must-visit when in Copenhagen. Its location is particularly special, nestled by the sea, offering a serene and secluded beauty. It also has a café with proper meals and a substantial museum shop, making it a place where you can easily spend an entire day. ✅Despite being transformed from an old villa built in the 1870s, the architects chose not to create a palace-style museum. Instead, they integrated the building into the natural space, adopting a garden-style exhibition route that allows visitors to enjoy nature while viewing the exhibits. ✅With the Copenhagen Card, both transportation and admission are included. It’s a 40-minute commute from the center of Copenhagen. The opening hours are usually around 11:00, so you don’t need to wake up early, and it stays open late into the evening, giving you plenty of time to explore. There are many exhibits, including special exhibitions. ✅The shop is definitely worth spending a lot of time in, with so many fun and interesting items to buy. There’s clothing, home goods, books, bags, and various art derivatives. The lockers are spacious, so once you store your belongings, you can explore with ease. The cabinets require coins, but if you don’t have any, you can exchange them at the information desk. ✅Having just visited the Takamatsu City Museum in Japan, I noticed quite a few similarities. The large spider was less of a surprise since I’ve seen it several times in Roppongi, Tokyo. I recommend planning a full day for your visit; half a day is not enough. ✅After leaving the museum, the sky was already dark. Along the road back to the station, there were many standalone houses, and at night, they didn’t draw the curtains. I saw a mother pulling her child’s hand, happily spinning around in the room from the roadside. In that moment, happiness truly materialized. #Denmark #Travel #Copenhagen #ArtMuseum #LouisianaMuseum #Guide #Nordic #NordicFairyTale #Art
