Corsica Travel Guide | How to Take Your Dog to the Island from Paris
❣️ Most French airlines do not allow dogs over 10KG in the cabin~ Many families are also not comfortable with their little ones being checked in~ Here, I recommend driving! You can enjoy different scenery along the way! Bring as much luggage as you want! Go whenever you want! 🌹 To get to Corse, you need to take a boat from the South of France (e.g., Nice, Toulon, Marseille) or Italy. We chose Corsica Ferries: they allow you to transport cars, book rooms to sleep, and bring dogs (some ships, 😍 like Corsica Linea, do not allow dogs), and it's very affordable~ For our group of 5 people, 1 car, 1 dog, and 2 rooms (only booked on the return trip), the round trip only cost 663.13 (with a 30% discount)! 👍 There are occasional online promotions offering a 30% discount for first-time buyers registering an account~ Remember to pay attention~ 🌸 Driving from Paris to the South of France (taking Nice Port as an example: Figure 5) takes about 10 hours, and it is recommended that at least 2 people take turns driving~ You can stop in a city along the way to play and stay for a few days, such as Annecy/Lyon/Geneva~ It's relatively relaxed ❣️ If you're bringing a car on the boat, you need to arrive at the Port 1 hour early (you can arrive up to 3 hours early, but I personally suggest not arriving more than 1 hour early, because you can't go in too early). Boarding the ship involves driving your car into the ship's internal garage, and then you can go to your room/restaurant/public area~ #TravelingWithDogs#MyTravelDiary#Recommendation#France#Corsica#Paris
