Creative Vietnamese Cuisine in Brooklyn: Di An Di ๐ŸŒฟ

Last weekend, while I was in Brooklyn making pottery, I stumbled upon a really unique Vietnamese restaurant when I got hungry. ๐Ÿœ ๐ŸŒบ The name "Di An Di" means "let's go eat," which is such a cute and inviting concept! I loved the atmosphereโ€”lots of lush green plants decorating the space, giving it a similar vibe to Hao Noodle. ๐ŸŒฟ The owner is a first-generation Vietnamese-American who loves to innovate with traditional dishes. If you're a purist when it comes to Vietnamese food, you might find the flavors here a bit different. But if you're into trying new things, like me, you'll probably enjoy it! ๐ŸŒŸ ๐ŸŒบ I tried two dishes: Beef Pho: This was really good! The braised beef had a smoky, barbecue-like flavor, and it came with a runny egg yolk and Thai chili. It was very aromatic and delicious, though it didn't taste like traditional pho. ๐Ÿ– Rice Paper Salad: This was quite an interesting dishโ€”made with green papaya, dried squid, peanuts, quail eggs, and more. I found it a bit salty and tangy, but you could always ask the chef to go easy on the salt and chili for a better taste. ๐Ÿฅ— ๐ŸŒบ Average cost: $30-$50 Address: 68 Greenpoint Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11222 #NewYork #Brooklyn #VietnameseFood #CreativeCuisine ๐ŸŒบ
