Crispy Cod Tart is Absolutely Divine
Crispy Cod Tart is Absolutely Divine On Friday night, which happened to be the Qixi Festival, we came to celebrate at Wallse, a Michelin one-star Austrian restaurant that I've had in my bookmarks for quite some time. Located on the streets of the West Village, the restaurant has an artistic ambiance that is also very relaxed. It's said that this restaurant has returned to the restaurant week after seven years, and the sincerity is quite sufficient! For $60, you get three courses, including a main course of steak with beef marrow, and the crispy cod tart is incredibly delicious! The desserts are also great, making it worth a visit. ❤️ COD STRUDEL: I absolutely love this crispy cod tart! The large piece of cod is very tender, wrapped in a thin layer of crispy pastry, with a texture that is just wonderful. The accompanying pureed vegetables and pumpkin puree are also very harmonious, truly an excellent European dish. ❤️ BAVETTE STEAK & BONE MARROW: The steak is cooked quite well, and the accompanying beef marrow is the icing on the cake, with a rich aroma. ❤️ For dessert, I had the best apple pie I've had since coming to the United States! There's no cinnamon at all! It's only the sweet and clear taste of apples, and the sweetness is very restrained. The outer pastry is also excellent! Additionally, the chilled watermelon soup with yogurt sorbet is also quite refreshing. #QixiFestivalRomanticDishes #FoodVideoSupportPlan #NYCRestaurantWeek #NYC2024RestaurantWeek #MichelinOneStarNYC #NewYorkFoodGuide #NewYorkFoodExploration #NewYorkDateRestaurant ### name:Wallsé address:344 W 11th St, New York, NY 10014 type:place ###
