š³ Cuyahoga Valley National Park One-Day Relaxed Trip
3ļøā£ćCuyahoga Valley National Parkć CVNP doesnāt feel like a typical national parkāitās close to the city and doesnāt even have a campsite. But itās quiet, easy to explore, and requires no advance preparation. Perfect for a spontaneous weekend forest walk! š¶āāļøš š¤ļø Boston Mill Visitor Center This is basically the heart of the park. Grab a map, get your NP passport stamped here. The trails are flat and run along an old canal and train tracks. You can even hop on a scenic railway from this spot! š Everett Covered Bridge This red wooden covered bridge is rare and charmingāit feels like something out of a fairy tale. šøā¤ļø š¦ Brandywine Falls The most famous spot in the park! A 65-inch waterfall with visible rock layers. The wooden boardwalk loop is about 0.5 milesāsuper easy and suitable for everyone. šŖµ Beaver Marsh Trail Loved the vibe here! A wooden boardwalk stretches through wetlandsāserene, peaceful, and far from the crowds. šæš¦« š Szalayās Farm & Market A lively local farm selling fresh fruits, veggies, and sweet treats. We got ice cream and chilled on their shaded rocking chairsāso relaxing! š¦š š” Accommodation Rec We stayed at an Airbnb in Brecksville, just a 10-min drive north of the park. Highly recommend! The backyard had a fire pit and a hot tub surrounded by trees. At night, we drank, made sāmores, stargazed, and listened to the cricketsāan ideal summer forest night! š„⨠š² The whole trip felt loose and easyāless like checking off a national park, and more like wandering into your own private forest on a weekend. #HikingTheWorld #USNationalParks #Ohio #Cleveland #WeekendGetaway
