🌳 Cuyahoga Valley National Park One-Day Relaxed Trip

3ļøāƒ£ć€Cuyahoga Valley National Park怑 CVNP doesn’t feel like a typical national park—it’s close to the city and doesn’t even have a campsite. But it’s quiet, easy to explore, and requires no advance preparation. Perfect for a spontaneous weekend forest walk! šŸš¶ā€ā™€ļøšŸƒ šŸ›¤ļø Boston Mill Visitor Center This is basically the heart of the park. Grab a map, get your NP passport stamped here. The trails are flat and run along an old canal and train tracks. You can even hop on a scenic railway from this spot! šŸŒ‰ Everett Covered Bridge This red wooden covered bridge is rare and charming—it feels like something out of a fairy tale. šŸ“øā¤ļø šŸ’¦ Brandywine Falls The most famous spot in the park! A 65-inch waterfall with visible rock layers. The wooden boardwalk loop is about 0.5 miles—super easy and suitable for everyone. 🪵 Beaver Marsh Trail Loved the vibe here! A wooden boardwalk stretches through wetlands—serene, peaceful, and far from the crowds. 🌿🦫 šŸ“ Szalay’s Farm & Market A lively local farm selling fresh fruits, veggies, and sweet treats. We got ice cream and chilled on their shaded rocking chairs—so relaxing! šŸ¦šŸ˜Œ šŸ” Accommodation Rec We stayed at an Airbnb in Brecksville, just a 10-min drive north of the park. Highly recommend! The backyard had a fire pit and a hot tub surrounded by trees. At night, we drank, made s’mores, stargazed, and listened to the crickets—an ideal summer forest night! šŸ”„āœØ 🌲 The whole trip felt loose and easy—less like checking off a national park, and more like wandering into your own private forest on a weekend. #HikingTheWorld #USNationalParks #Ohio #Cleveland #WeekendGetaway
