Daily Izakaya Recommendation: Konban (1)🌆

A Japanese izakaya run by Koreans. The servers are all young Korean guys and girls, and they order in Japanese. 🍰Haha, but the food is a creative mix that really appeals to Chinese taste buds, like Italian bolognese pasta, eggplant, and pork cutlet. It was a pleasant surprise! Today, there was no sea urchin rice. They said it's no longer available. 😢 🐷 Pork Loin: The pork cutlet was so fragrant, juicy, and tender. It would have been even better with a little bit of fat! The waitress said none of the three sauces were necessary and recommended eating it plain, which was great. 🌽 Konban Corn Rib: Unique presentation—grilled corn with cheese powder. Everyone seemed to order it, but it didn't blow me away. It was special, though. #NewYorkFoodie #NYCExploration 🍔🥗
