Darwin = Australia's wild, untamed frontier!) πΏ Why Darwin? β Empty roads, epic wildlife β Spot kangaroos, buffalo, giant lizards & BATS hanging from resort trees! β SUNSETS DAILY β The sky burns orange-pink every. single. evening. π β For crocodile lovers β This is SALTIE CENTRAL! π MUST-DO ACTIVITIES 1οΈβ£ Adelaide River Jumping Crocs Classic boat tour where crocs LEAP for meat (terrifyingly cool!). 2οΈβ£ Darwin Botanic Gardens Exotic tropical plants + python sightings! π 3οΈβ£ Crocosaurus Cove "Cage of Death" β Swim with giant salties (but TBH, the crocs here are chill workaholics ππΌ). 4οΈβ£ Deckchair Cinema Open-air movies + drinks + ocean breeze = perfect night. πΏπ 5οΈβ£ Berry Springs Warm, fish-filled waters β great for swimming! πββοΈ π National Park Adventures π Litchfield NP Wangi Falls: Usually swimmable (but closed when I went due to CROCS in the water!) Florence Falls: Freezing but gorgeous. βοΈ π Bitter Springs (TOP PICK!) Crystal-blue thermal waters β like swimming in liquid sapphire! π (Watch for sneaky sticks β I got splinters!) π Mataranka & Katherine Hot Springs Smaller but safer for kids. π Nitmiluk Gorge Sunset turns cliffs GOLDEN β unreal views! ποΈ π Kakadu NP Yellow Water Cruise: Wetland safari for crocs & birds (bring a zoom lens!).
