Dawa’s, a Hidden Gem for Tibetan Fusion Cuisine Near LIC 🌺

📍Dawa’s 51-18 Skillman Ave, Woodside, NY 11377 Continuing my quest to discover delicious restaurants around LIC!👌🏼 🌿 Just a 10-minute drive away, this cozy little spot specializes in Tibetan/Nepalese cuisine, with an authentic Himalayan vibe in its decor. 🏔️ The menu is pretty concise, but here are my recommendations👇🏼: 🌿 1⃣️ Beef Momo (Tibetan Beef Dumplings) 🥟 These dumplings are packed with meat and bursting with flavorful juices. A must-try! 2⃣️ Thenthuk (Tibetan Beef Noodle Soup) Highly recommended by the waiter. It’s a comforting dish, though not incredibly mind-blowing. 🌿 3⃣️ Tsel Baley Think of it as a fancy version of a Chinese chive dumpling 😂 but it’s still really tasty. The other dishes were just okay. The yak butter tea was something I couldn’t really get used to—it tasted a bit watery, but my friend seemed to enjoy it. The dessert was a bit of a miss, so I’d suggest trying another place for that. 🥲 🌿 Overall, if you live near LIC, it’s a nice spot to visit occasionally for a taste of the Himalayas. 🌿 #NYCFoodGuide #NYCFoodie 🌟
