Day - trip around New York | Mercer Museum โณ๐ช๐ฏ
Mercer Museum is located in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. It took us about an hour and a half to drive there from Jersey City. ๐ This museum showcases the craft tools and daily necessities in the United States before industrialization, such as woodworking tools, pottery - making equipment, transportation tools. There are so many of them, filling several floors. ๐ฒ This is definitely among the top museums I've ever visited. It's really interesting with so much to see, and there are also some interactive projects to experience. ๐คฉ The small items here are all so cute. For example, there are many displayed small combs, farming tools, and even a guillotine. ๐ฎ We went there on a weekday, and there were very few people. There was also a special tour guide whom we could ask questions. I asked her why each item had a number on it, and she told me that we could look up the information about the item according to the number. ๐ You can spend quite a long time here. If you look carefully, play around a bit, and take some pictures, it's no problem to spend about three hours. When the sun is shining brightly, it's really great for taking pictures. There are many vintage lattice - paned windows inside, and the sunlight coming in makes it look beautiful. ๐ If you're tired of staying in the city, I highly recommend going there for a visit. Doylestown is also a very beautiful small town. ๐ผ #OffthebeatenpathSpots #SpendtheWeekendSomewhereElse #NewYorkLife #AroundNewYork #MyLife
