Day 7: Passau, Germany – A Colorful Danube Adventure with Mom 🌈

📍 Our only German stop on this river odyssey! 🌅 Morning Magic Woke to storybook-colored houses along the riverbank—like a watercolor painting come to life! 🎨 Three Rivers Spectacle: Watched the Danube (blue) 💙, Inn (green) 💚, and Ilz (black) 🖤 swirl together from Veste Oberhaus castle (took the bus up, walked down—steep steps, not for frail knees!). 🛍️ Old Town Treasures Pink & mint buildings hid affordable boutiques—emerged with floral dresses (even bonded with a fellow shopper over our matching bags! 👗). Pro Tip: Hit the shops after 11am when they open! 🎵 Noon Concert at St. Stephen’s Cathedral 5€ organ recital: 40 minutes of haunting melodies as sunlight danced on frescoes. "Music for the soul, light show for the eyes!" Post-concert reward: Gelato from that famous red-guidebook spot 🍦 (essential in the heat!). 🍽️ Viking "German Night" Feast Blue-checked tablecloths, dirndl-clad waitresses (shoutout to Wei from Wuhan—her dialect made Mom feel at home!), and hearty Bavarian platters.
